Hello I had my surgery on Monday 9/30/2013 before surgery I was sent to a Hematologist because it was discovered in my blood work I had Factor 5 a blood clotting disordered so he still cleared me for surgery and recommended leg pumping system and blood thinners to prevent blood clots so after three days I came home and was about to give myself a blood thinner shot when I was reading something in the instructions that said anybody with low platelets shouldn't have blood thinner shots and thats when I recall that my dr said that my platelets were slightly low at 135 so I called my dr who performed my sleeved and explained to him what I read so I can have some peace of mind i sent to have blood work and than the next day I received a call stating that my counts drop ten more points and to call my hematologist so I did and his office was close so I got the dr on call and she said to continue on the blood thinners over the weekend and to give him a call on Monday. So now I am worried i really want this surgery to be a success I feel fine otherwise no pain I am not nauseous I walk I been getting all my liquids in. Anybody else gone thru something like this,
