Anyone else have scar tissue removed?

He doc said there was some scar tissue around my stomach that had to be removed. This is my first surgery and I find that strange...

    I've had a couple of surgeries in the past, but none involving my upper abdomen. Still my surgeon found some adhesions around my stomach as well. No known cause.
