At this point the incision does not itch much' date=' it really hasn't. But there are odd pockets of numbness right next to areas that seem more sensitive than ever. It's a weird feeling.

And, since I've owned this house, I've never put a roll on the roller thingie. I hate the roller thingies. I like the roll in my hand. That's how I roll.[/quote']

How long since weight loss surgery did you have to wait for th ?

Today is day 20 post op. Everything is looking and feeling great. Still a little sore but not bad. Energy levels are slowly coming back. Swelling varies from day to day but overall has not been bad at all. I feel great about it's turned out. Clothing fits completely different now....but in a good way. Oddly' date=' I can only find one VSG scar now. The rest were cut out or have faded to the point I can't see them at all. [/quote']

Look at you! I go put of town for a few days and you are tempting all the ladies!!

Looking good BFF :)

Where do you live &what type dr did you see for th?

I live in the Houston area and I went to a plastic surgeon. I am 17 months post op from VSG but the main thing the surgeon cared about was that I had been holding a steady weight for at least 6 months.

Nice flat stomach there. Congratulations! Now tell me: how much are you missing your runs?? Also' date=' can you put a picture of before and after (the most recent one) side by side?[/quote']

Of course I'm missing my runs quite a bit, but I know it's only temporary.

Here's a side by side. Frankly those before pics make me cringe.

Thanks Gypsyqueen. Yeah it's still weird. Everytime I take a shower I try to wash that belly and it's just not there. Still noticed to it.

Looking great! I just sent you a PM, but figured your answer would be informative here. I can't tell how far to the sides your incisions run. Did you have the circumferential (360 degree) or just the paniculectomy (front only)? Did they do an abdominoplasty? I have been approved for the pani, but want to know what it looks like after. Anything else I will have to pay out of pocket. So I'm trying to decide how much better the results would be with the optional procedures. Thanks.

Paul I just had extensive plastics. I think it is worth it to pay the extra for the ab over the panny. The ab.job really is.much bigger and gives much more results.

I had the lower body lift or 360 because the whole thing was self pay and the cost and recovery differences wasnt that much. The 360 helps resolved saggy butt and upper thigh more than anything but it also prevents the dog ears some people get after just a TT.

Anyway, i prob wouldnt do 360 LBL unless you are looking to wear bikinis but I would seriously consider the full ab work over just the panni.

I'm having the panniculectomy plus a hernia repair on Nov 5 only because my insurance will pay for it, I can't afford the tt right now and figured my insurance is changing (not for the better) so I better get done what I can now. For the 10,000 it would cost extra just for tt, I can go to Mexico and get alot done later.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
