Dont you know we are not supposed to use straws!! They will blow up your tummy!!

Oh confession, there are many...

But one night I stuffed a Protein bar in my mouth and ate it real quick before my husband came back into the room (a recovering sneak binge eater)

Oh and revs what's a Protein pump inhibitor??

:D

I indulge in the occasional potato chip, french fry and candy. I had a spoonful of ice cream tonight with caramel Syrup. And the bad stuff goes down TOO easy. I don't want to feel like I can't have these things again, but feel bad when I eat them. Like the other night, my daughter wanted some fruit Loops. I had a couple and that turned into a handful and if I didn't put the box away, it would've been more. When I fall off, I tell myself that tomorrow is a new day and I'm doing the very best I can. And you're right, we eat it because it 'was there.' Harsh reality is, I'm still eating out of emotion or boredom, but I'm trying really hard to control that. Thanks for having a post like this, I was DYING to confess to someone that understands!

For real?!

For realz.

I DO NOT recommend this to anyone else. It makes my tummy hurt if it is not flat enough, and it fills me up so I don't eat enough. I can only drink it as a fountain drink or poured over ice and stirred. It takes me all day to nurse one and it's usually completely watered down before I get more than two inches down.

Don't do it.

Lol, this is too funny. I think I was 4 weeks post op & finished off a bag of spicy potato chips before my husband came home. Was surprised at that moment that I was able to eat them so easily so soon. Felt guilty that I fell off the program so soon & paid for it later that day, I never did it again.

LiptstickLady: You REBEL! ;)

Laura: Protein Pump Inhibitors are things like Omeprazole. They are basically like a nuclear version of Zantac. As for your Protein Bar fest?! lol love it. Least you could get it down!

Jessica: You're more than welcome. There's no shame, we're all the same (as is said as the tagline on a rather disturbing program in the UK called 'Embarrassing Bodies'

8 days post op I licked the seasoning off some wheat thins...I think it was the sun dried Tomato basil flavor. f**k it was good. My sweet dog Wrigley ate the licked crackers afterward. She was all too happy to dispose of the evidence for me. Also.....I parked in a handicapped space at the dollar store while on my 2 week pre-op diet. I was running in real quick to get a Kit Kat which I may or may not have eaten. Honestly it disappeared so fast I'm not sure where it went.

Lmao that's your story and you're sticking to it huh? This thread is too funny

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
