Surgery End of Octobed

Hello Everyone! I just joined this site, as a recommendation from a friend of mine. I am actually having my first of two surgeries this Friday. I have to have my lap band removed and then in 4 weeks I will have the sleeve. I have completed all processes and insurance has approved everything. I am excited and nervous.

Hi Mel, Welcome. Hopefully your friend told you this was a good site to get advice and encouragement from people that are either in the same situation or have been there. I've never been banded, but have had a sleeve for 2 years. Thought I'm still working, it's been the best decision for my health. You stay positive and stay in touch, we are all in it together.
