Thank you for your post! I weigh 246 & I started my pre-op diet today. My surgery is scheduled for Oct 8th, once it became official I started thinking " should I wait?" After, seeing so many of the post and the before & after pics, I'm ready! Keep me in your prayers!!!

PS, once your sleeved, stalls will come and and go, one day you'll step on the scale and it will be 2 pounds lighter that a few days ago, then the next week it'll say the same as last week. From my research, stalls come due to your body changing from storing fat, to reducing fat. Plus, most of us largies think were all fat, nope, Water weight on us is ridiculous. That's the majority of the weight you will loose in the first few months. You won't be taking in all that sodium, so your body won't store much Water at all.

Me, I used to go to McDonald's, eat 3 McDoubles, large fry, and 2 Dr Peppers. Then the dollar hot fudge sundae to make it a complete meal. Now, I still go, but like today my daughter wanted a happy meal, so I took her. I got one McChicken, no mayo. That's it, I ate about 2/3's of the sandwich with no fries or drink. I was full, so full I felt as if I ate all I did before as in the first sentence. And that's the feeling you want, get fuller faster.

Imagine this, not only will you be saving all that crap from going in your body, you will save a lot of money. It's a loose/win situation that your happy with on both sides.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
