I had crabmeat in my puréed and soft food stages. At first when I tried it, it tasted very rich and did not agree with me. It was a great type of different Protein.< /p>

I'm week three and had no problem with shrimp. Be careful with imitation crab....look at the ingredients and nutrition profile. It has things in there we shouldn't be eating. Stick with "real" food.< /p>

omg I have sharp pains right now I feel sick :( that crabmeat didn't Agree with my stomach or I might have just ate to much :(

Ok you just made a NEW thread about your pain so I posted this there, but I'll stick it here too...

"Ok you make so many new threads I'm having a keeping up with which one to answer..

Ok you were/are sick? If so don't advance to any new foods wait until your cold is over..

You just ate crabmeat for the first time? Refer to the statement above.

Did you over eat? How much did you have?

When eating measure 1/4 cup do not go above that. If its something new? Don't even have that much! Try a tiny taste or two and I mean tiny.

Then let it sit for a long while... If it doesn't bother you them perhaps your ready for it and can try it again at your next meal"

I'm 24 days post-op and today I eat crab meat, it was very delicious and I enjoy every bite of it with no problem at all, of course 1/4 of a cup and I was more than satisfied.

How are you guys eating the crab meat. I just bought some because I'm tired of canned tuna. Are you eating it right out of the can? With cocktail sauce? Thoughts appreciated!

I'm about to try and fabricate a crab cake recipe, hopefully tomorrow or Tuesday.

Just had my first taste of Alaskan salmon I cooked on the grill. It was only 3 ounces, but it was awesome!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
