I like this thread.

I can post a newer pic.

I get called chicken legs all the time. I wish my upper body was as small as my lower body.

Maybe with more cardio.

Thanks for replying. It's great to see ladies that are shaped like me. My coworkers actually measured my ankles once because they are so skinny which sucks since my top half is so wide. But you look great, by the way.

You look great! Now I'm going to keep thinking about my legs as chicken legs! LOL It's the perfect analogy, saggy but in clothes- chicken legs!

I kind of have the bony butt problem already. Hopefully it won't get to much worse post sleeve.

I'm about 6 weeks post op now. I'm seeing minor improvements already. But I'm trying to keep my expectations in check. Anymore progress pics from you apple shaped vets would be great.

I need to get updated pics. My measurements are 40-30-38 so I am relatively skinny assed but my tummy really did shrink with weight loss. I did have plastics, but my waist measurement didn't change much. My hip measure shrunk because the extra skin from my hanging tummy is now gone. I was more voluptous looking on the hips (with clothes) before plastics because my extra tummy skin could be cleverly spread out under Shapewear to make some hips..haha.

So, I am slightly top heavy looking now I guess but really pleased with the transformation from barrel to to something closer to an hourglass. I intentionally choose quite small implants as i did not want to be huge looking on top.

I'm far from done, but I basically lost a person from around my middle (32 inches). And I can finally wear prettier bras!

It doesn't get any better I started at 254 my initial goal weight was 150 but at 160 new it would have to be much lower so now I am 137 and still feel fat because of my stomach so now I pushed my goal to 130 and I've told myself that at 130 even if I dont like what I see I have to stop. Went from wearing a size 26 pants to a size 12 a size 3x shirt to a lg and that due to needing a bigger shirt to cover my stomach. Just bought my first dress last week a size lg but now need to buy some Spanx to look good in it you would think 130 pounds on a 5ft1 inch frame you would be skinny well not for an apple shape. My 1 year is coming up March 12 will post pic then.

I'm Down about 50 pounds from my pre- surgery weight and while I know I've lost some inches from my waist, my tummy is still as round as ever. I still have 85 lbs to go, though. If anyone else has more pics, I'd love to see 'em.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
