Shakes ahead of time?

Does anyone make their shakes the night before? I was thinking this would be easier for work but didn't know if they would stay good?

I am sure it wont taste as good ....debbie

I've tried this before to save time and not have to mix one up EVERY time. I made a chocolate shake and when I went to drink it in the morning the color had turned a little grey. I decided to taste it anyway and it was awful!

I make mine the night before all the time. I found the protein clumps break up better if I make them ahead of time. I drink 2 shakes a day, and make them both the night before. I think it would depend on the brand you use, some may work to make ahead, some don't. Mine settle a bit overnight, but I just shake them before I drink them and they are fine.

I agree. I have made a drink at night and couldn't finish it. I left it in the fridge overnight and drank it in the morning. It tasted like I had just made it once I put it back into the blender bottle. Now that I'm back to work, it is definitely easier to make it the night before. You should give it a try. Everyone's tastes are different.

My surgeon told me a lot of proteins will breakdown if they sit, prepared, too long. But sometimes ya gotta do what ya gotta do!
