Looking for sleeve friend in Queens NY

I would really like to have a friend or friends are that going through the pre-op process or was just recently sleeved. Someone I can talk to often, and even work out with. Support each other.

Let me know if interested. Thanks.

Yes you absolutely will. Ill be 7 weeks on Monday and Ian just now getting over it. Just remember it's normal and that first 6 weeks is not an indication of how life will be its part of the healing

I had surgery at Lenox hill July 8. Where are you going? Always looking for buddies. I'm on the upper east side in the city

  • How are you feeling? Any words of wisdom?

Today I plan to relax. Maybe take a walk later. I will focus on getting in my protein and water today. I'm not too excited about eating purée lol. I was dying to eat before the surgery' date=' now it feels like a nuisance in a way because its hard for it to pass out of my system. I wonder if I can take anything for constipation.[/quote']

I've actually been okay with the eating, try some ricotta cheese or yogurt. I also made tacos for the family and I had a little of the ground meat with some cheese on top. Maybe a scrambled egg? But I'm limiting it to exactly 2oz. Per meal so that I don't overheat.

As for the constipation, I mixed some miralax into my G2 and that did the trick. I've been regular since. Did you make your follow up appointment yet? Mine's Tuesday.

FYI- still can't drink water! Missing it!

Waiting for the insurer to approve is nerve racking. I was so anxious as well. But you should hear something soon. I'm sure your surgeon submitted everything you needed to.

What part of queens?
