Im in a similar situation. 3 weeks out 10 lbs lost only. I gained in hospital 12 lbs which was prob from fluids in iv I lost that and 10 lbs. I have 120 to loose. This is going to be a long long ride. I thought there would be a honeymoon phase. I guess its bypassing me.#sadanddiscouraged#

I was sleeved on oct 4. Ive only lost 11 lbs so far. I had gained 10 lbs during hospital stay so that was gone plus 11 lbs. I dont eat much. I get my protein in. Water is difficult to drink im trying but its hard. Why am I losing so slowly. I developped sciatica my worst episode ever and was bedridden for 8 days as walking painful. Will I be relegated to slow loserville. I had a bmi of 47 going in, and have 140 to lose. Im terrified I am failing. I try and usually eat under 800 calories. Help please im discouraged

I am on soft foods, graduated to chicken moistly prepped tuna and canned chix. I havent had the tuna or canned chix yet I made chicken and some sweet potato and carrots and tomato in slow cooker. First meal ive had in 24 days. Im trying to walk more but feel exhausted. I was more active before being sleeved!

Just released from hospital. had some wonderful nurses. One of them came and said hi said you two were friends. I was out of it but really appreciated what you did. I have acid reflux/ heartburn when I eat anything but today is better than yesterday and its nice to be home.

Annie, thank you so much for your help. I have a question, surgery is friday and I still havent hotten a call from office with re exact time. Is this normal? Everything seems like pulling teeth at this office. I know im just anxious and hungry thus cranky

Congratulations!!! My surgery is scheduled for friday oct 4, 4 days away. Im in the middle of preop diet. Cant wait to be on losing side. I was not a fan of office but im still waiting for them to call with exact time of surgery.

I have a preop diet for 10 days, consisting of 2 shakes and one sensible meal. Last 2 days clear only. I had my shake this morning, then an apple, then a shake then edamame and finally tuna fish with lowfat 15 cal mayo with lettuce and tomatoes Does this sound like im complying?

Well I am at the end, everything was submitted on Tuesday afternoon, and I have UH/Oxford Liberty. How long will it take to get a decision? I am on pins and needles.

My doctor states insurance requires pcp to have a medically structures weight loss attempt. Does this mean I have to join Weight Watchers.I dont want to mess this up
