  1. Yesterday has been weighing on my mind all night. My husband had asked me to make him tacos for dinner. No problem. A few days prior I had been cleared to eat regular food. I thought I would be able to make myself a taco with soft shell. To my suprise I was able to eat the whole thing. Maybe an hour or less I was hungry or craving again and I was able to eat another. After a while I ate again but just the meat, no shell because it dawned on me finally to look at the nutritional facts on the box giving me a rude awakening. I don't know how I was able to eat so much. How could my stomach hold so much food only 4 weeks out. By the end of the day my scale went up almost 2 lbs. That was all I ate all day though. I had meals in the form of Protein drinks and juiced greens. Also I feel a bit hormonal and I feel like I am going through PMS. I have pcos. Is this normal?

    Breaking up protein?

I also drink the ispoure Protein. I have one scoop earlier in the day and the other half of the serving later on in the day. I split it up because it helps to curb my appetite. How are the shakology shakes? I thought about trying them in the past.
  3. Basically everything I eat I record it in an app on my phone. For some reason yesterday I just went overboard during dinner. I really was just craving like I was going through compulsive eating again. I really wanted a slice of chocolate cake lol. The first time I had ever craved sweets since surgery. I guess the tortilla shell was satisfying my carb craving. I have pcos and my menstrual usually never comes. But I do get very hormonal with or without the period - bloating, serious cravings. I felt it coming on, but I was suprised that the sleeve didn't stop me in my tracks while I indulged. I worry about this and what this means going forward.
  4. I think I should drink more liquids. I havent reached 64 oz a day yet but I'm working on it.

    2months post op

You look fabulous! You're doing a great job.
  6. I would really like to have a friend or friends are that going through the pre-op process or was just recently sleeved. Someone I can talk to often, and even work out with. Support each other. Let me know if interested. Thanks.
  7. Waiting for the insurer to approve is nerve racking. I was so anxious as well. But you should hear something soon. I'm sure your surgeon submitted everything you needed to. What part of queens?
  8. Welcome! And congratulations on your surgery date. Where are you going for the op?
  9. I'm doing so-so. I haven't been able to get enough protein and liquids in. I can nibble a little tuna with light mayo. I've been mostly drinking soup broth. Today I felt very weak. I didn't know it was bc I was hungry or dehydrated. I learned that it was the latter towards 9pm and sipped on some pineapple juice which made me feel a lot better. I walk and try to stay active most of the day, maybe I overdo it sometimes with the cleaning, I don't know. I'm sitting on the slow losers bench I think. From preop on 8/22 until now I lost 11.7 lbs. I stalled for 3 days from 9/2-9/4.
