  1. I'm doing okay. No problems, feel good but seem to be losing slow. Down 39.1 lbs since start of preop on August 20th. You?
  2. Thanks everyone, it certainly does feel great!
  3. Fit into a pair of non plus size pants this morning...feels great!
  4. I'm in a similar boat, got engaged on July 13th, sleeved on September 3rd and am getting married on February 15th. I ordered my dress to weeks ago. I worked closely with the owner of the bridal salon and we pretty much had to guess what size gown to order. We agreed that I should order the largest size that it came in before plus size, so a 16. I have panic attacks every day that this thing might still be too small by the time of the wedding!
  5. I'm doing well, getting in about 60grams of Protein a day, not able to drink Water but drinking plenty of sugar free stuff like G2 with no problem. As of today I'm down 24lbs from the first day of my preop diet on 8/22. I'm a bit tired and my large incision is sore but other then that I'm doing really well. Anna how are you doing?
  6. Thanks for the reassurance everyone! Looking forward to drinking it again soon. The good news is that as of this am I'm down 21lbs. Since the start of my preop diet on 8/22!
  7. I'm 5 days postop and finding that Water actually hurts going down. Anything else is fine, G2, crystal light, lifewater, anything but water. This is horrible for me, preop I would on a normal day drink almost 2 GALLONS of water! I never cared for any other beverages much. Does this get better or am I going to just have to get used to the taste of artificial sweetener long term now? Missing my H20....
  8. Good to hear that I I'll get better. Thanks
  9. My gas pain is terrible, it stuck in my right shoulder. I had to sleep sitting up in a chair last night bc it was so bad. Glad you like the Syntrax, I find it so much easier to tolerate then the others. Did she give you t he info for he website to order more? I got it like the day after I ordered.
  10. Yup, I've tried hot, cold and room temp and they all seem to hurt going down. I hope this is only temporary.
  11. I'm 2 days out and liquids hurt so bad going down. The puréed foods aren't a problem going down but how am I supposed to get in all of my liquids when it's this painful? Will this get better?
  12. Mine is awful too! I have a heating pad on my shoulder and can't seem to find a single position that is comfortable. It hurts so bad!
  13. Just got my first up of ice chips, they feel word going down.
  14. Im about to leave for the hospital, See you on the losers bench in just a few hours!
  15. Me too. I guess it's totally normal to have all of these last minute jitters, I'm pretty sure I won't sleep much either especially ince I ave to be up at 4:30. Maybe I'll pass you in the hall on my way out and your way in!
