  1. 48 hours from now I will already be sleeved! I I cannot believe its here.
  2. Are you driving or flying? If you are flying I recommend the individual packets of Syntrax nectar powder. You can just pour it into a Water bottle shake it and go. If you are driving I would also stock up on a case of Vitamin water zero or lifewater, something with taste to kill your cravings. Also some Soup broth packets that you can just add water to. Of course you'll also need to bring shakes with you!
  3. Listening to all of those people crunch on their popcorn while I drank my vitamin water zero was torture! What was I thinking by going to a movie?!? Good thing the movie was hilarious! Anyone else finding certain situations intolerable?
  4. My PCP wasn't the most supportive either. He didn't outright say no but he kept delaying and finding reasons to hold off signing the clearance papers. Finally I told him he could either support my decision and sign it or I would need to find a different PCP who would be on board. I guess the thought of losing a patient wasn't too appealing because he signed it then and there.
  5. I'll probably be too excited to sleep the night before anyway so maybe I'll already be up
  6. It sounds like I'm the surgery right before you. I have to be there at 5:45am and surgery is at 8.
  7. It's this coming Tuesday, the 3rd. Getting really close.
  8. I'm hoping my recovery is that easy. I'll make a note to bring those items with me. I find out tomorrow what time I have to be there.
  9. How are you feeling? Any words of wisdom?
  10. I'll let you know when I get my time tomorrow
  11. Me too. It's going To be a long weekend. Looking forward to finding out the time tomorrow afternoon.
  12. My doctor is Angstadt but they are from the aame office. I'm doing okay, had a few slices of turkey. I figured if I had to have something it was not the worst thing to have. The past 2 days I seem to be feeling a little better, guess we get used to it after a certain point. I'm down 11lbs as of this morning so that positive at least. Are you nervous? Everyone keeps asking me that but I don't think I really am.
  13. I can't believe 1 week from today is surgery day! It came so quickly. So excited and a little nervous too!
  14. My surgery is September 3rd and a month ago I started taking a multivitamin, 2 calcium chews a day, b-12 sublingual, and biotin. Since surgery is in a week I had to stop the multivitamin until after (apparently they thin your blood) but will start again 10 days after surgery. I was told to take these by both the surgeon and the nutritionist.
  15. Today is day 4 for me and my stomach is not handling this well. I'm definitely less hungry today but shakes and all this artificial sweetener is not agreeing with me.
  16. I'm having such a tough time, I cheated yesterday. I had 2 slices of low odium deli turkey. I spent all day at the hospital doing preop testing and the class and when I got home I was so dizzy and weak I thought I was going to pass out. I figured the 2 slices of turkey were better then the alternative of ending up on the floor. Hopefully today I do better. Oh and yeah I'm a nasty b*tch right now too, everyone in the house is kind of just ignoring me! 11 full days left....
