Just started my journey

Hi All, My story is like many of yours. I have been overweight my entire life and decided it's time for a change. I'm 53 and 270 lbs. I have high blood pressure and am tired of not being able to do normal, everyday things. I live in Wi however, due to being a self pay I will be having my surgery in New Iberia, LA with Dr. Borland for $9800. in October 2013. Anyone that can share their experience traveling post surgery or their experience with Dr. Borland is much appreciated.
