Sleeved 7/17.

Start weight 295

Surgery weight 279

Current weight 258

37 lbs gone and feel great. This was the best thing I could of ever done. :)

And I've had a 10 day stall on my 2nd week of surgery. But it's slowly coming off. Some weeks I'm down 1 lb and some 3 lbs. slow but nice and steady. But I just keep doing what I'm doing and happy it's coming off and staying off.

I've been eating 800-1000 calories since my 2nd week post op. My Dr and nutricionist told me I was eating way to much. I shd only be consuming 600 cals to 800 max. And ideally after 1yr eat abt 1000 cal a day. Has anyone ever been told that? I was also told to workout 6 days a week to speed up my weightloss. I'm currently doing 4-5 days a week power walking abt 3 miles each time. But was told that wasn't engh.

I'm just curious if anyone has experienced that before.

Thanks :)

Surgery date was 7/17.

Start weight: 298.8

Day of surgery: 281.2

Current weight: 257.6

I stalled at two weeks post op for a week then started back up slower but my doctor said almost everyone does the same thing! That made me feel better.

I was told to be at 600 calories a day right now too but that the top two things to remember are to get in the Protein and to not eat if I am not hungry.

I wasn't told calories. Just get in Protein and keep hydrated. I am 3 weeks out today... I haven't been counting calories but I know I am under 600... I have my first check up appt tomorrow excited to see where I am at and when o get to do things. I need to up my excersize but I am not motivated to.. Lol

And I am only eating pureed food twice a day... I should try 3 at least but I just can't get it in yet?

I'm getting between 475-600 a day but that's not my focus. 64 ozs of Water and 72 grams of Protein is my daily goal.

Surgery July 3rd

Starting weight: 310 lbs

Surgery day weight: 297 lbs

Current weight: 265 lbs

45 lbs gone and I feel pretty good. I am down almost three sizes so I think I am losing inches faster than weight.

Good luck all!!!

Sleeved 7/29

SW 246

CW 226

I have been in a stall for over a week switching to soft foods has slowed my loss. I have only been able to get about 55 grams Protein. My clothes are alot looser. I have been adding exercise slowly. Today I played Xbox Kinect games with my daughter for an hour, lots of jumping and my heart was racing so that must be good! It was fun too!

I was sleeved on the 16th. I am down 20 pounds since surgery and 34 pounds since I started this journey. I lost 12 pounds my first week, 5 pounds the next week, then I stalled for a week. I have lost 3 pounds this week. Tomorrow is 5 weeks out for me. I feel great! Thanks for posting everyone...looks like I am not as far behind as I thought. It is coming off much slower than I was expecting.

My program says 75g of Protein minimum and 800 calories minimum. I wonder why such a difference?

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
