Apparently you can't rant in a rant forum.... UNLESS you have a whole bunch of dots under your picture.

  • Dots??? What dots??? Yep I've had Susan (and Alex) roll up a news paper and smack me on the nose publicly like a bad puppy more than once! Was I in the wrong? Was I violating the forum rules? Hel

  • your rant is based on rantless rantacles who rant less then the regular ranters rant when there is nothing else to do but rant.

Boy, now I'm really WONDERING WHY THIS FORUM IS HERE. LOL

I looked it up. It's only a 4 hour drive. How can I not?

14 hours for me. But if I leave now I can make it for Breakfast tomorrow.

Bah I'll just hunt down the cupcake truck. It's closer and mobile.

Sorry. This thread was a train wreck from the moment it got started. A good hijacking was unavoidable.

LoL!!! Oh no this is in colorado. The land of granola.

People get in their Eco friendly hybrid and go down town to take one of the "community bikes" to Sullys slice truck. Huge slices of greasy pizza. And wash it down with a gourmet cupcake from the cupcake truck.

Laura-Ven,

I take it this means you have not visited the Kara's Cupcake Truck? Kara's Cupcakes are my all time faves. I've been considering taking her class at the SF Culinary Center.

Lynda

Voodoo doughnuts in Portland makes a bunch of different kinds. Maple bacon, Captain Crunch, some that mimic body parts, and Fruit Loop covered....doughnuts.

I'm not listening Lynda! La La La La La La....

I do not need to know that we have a cupcake truck :P

And girl that is the last thing I need to be learning how to make!!

It seems this forum found its purpose.

I'm in D.C. and we have cupcake food trucks, too. Every time I see the pepto pink of the cupcake trucks I walk to the other side of the street. I'm not even a cake person, seriously, but the smells wafting from that vehicle tempt me every time.

I also dodge the cheesecake truck.

But Chapat Truck? Every time I'm around the area I stop for some curries or rasam...or even palak paneer. Ooh, or dosa! I can eat more of that than I should, thanks to the crispiness. Mmm...I think I need to make Indian food soon!

Oh, and food trucks are the devil and I'll tell you why: If I'm out walking around minding my business I want to be able to tell myself I'm getting some exercise. It doesn't work when every twelve steps I'm tempted by a long line and the luscious smells of food I do not need to eat. Food trucks make me into a hobbit and I find myself not only justifying $3 cupcakes but also eating second Breakfast and elevensies in addition to my normal lunch rotation.

I will say..Portland has a Paleo Food Truck. I went there for my Management offsite in June..the food was DELICIOUS!!!

Saw them on Sweet Eats or something like that on Cooking Channel. Soooo glad they don't have one here. It's hard enough with the cup cake trucks that park outside my job.

That sounds cool. We're moving to Portland eventually and my wife is a recent paleo convert.

Cheesecake truck? I can't believe it's never been hijacked. Good thing it doesn't come down my street.

Hey.. I went to frost donuts because Fidleman made me.. And I'm so proud I didnt order one thing.. Notta! They were out of donuts.. But proud nonetheless :D
