Please stick with your doctors recommended eating schedule. If you're bored, take that opportunity to get in your walking. Keep yourself hydrated and move. Good luck!

Take it from me, please stick with your eating schedule. Try walking for 5 minutes each and every hour. Go on pinterest and pin those things that you want to do at goal weight, the styles you want to wear, the hairstyle you want, etc. Really journal and visualize yourself where you want to be mentally and physically.I had surgery 2 years ago in September and lost 60 pounds. But, because I did not learn how to manage my stress, I fell back to emotional eating and have gained back half of what I lost. Looking back, this began when I was able to follow a normal eating plan. When I no longer had the restrictions to follow, I completely failed and slowly let carbs, chips and candy back in. Please do yourself a favor and really listen to your doctors and follow the plan. Some days will be easier than others but you have come so far.

I'm only 12 days out and I completely understand where you are at. Right now, while following the post op diet (and don't forget, this part is about healing safely, not losing weight), it's a mind over matter thing. Find something to do. Come up with some novel sugar free drinks to have between mealtimes (I bought an infusion pitcher and made my own cucumber-melon Water (much more interesting than bottled stuff or plain water). It's a full time job right now to work on getting in your fluids and Protein. Maybe go to the grocery store and hunt down some more interesting Soups that you can have for the next week or however long you're on full liquids. If you only have a few choices, you will be super bored. I also hunted down more interesting Protein sources. I found a kefir that has 16g protein/8oz (cultured milk probiotic drink, basically a thin yogurt). I found it kind of fun (maybe interesting is more appropriate than "fun") to read labels and really look at the sugar and protein in various yogurts and Soups and whatnot. Time spent prepping for your next stage is never wasted.

Good luck and keep up the good work! You'll make it!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
