My boobs got the memo...Wish my butt did too!

While I have only lost 26 pounds (from 213 to 187 at 5'6"), I think it was ALL from my upper body! Face to waist thinning but seems my hips, thighs and butt are planning to be fashionably late to the weight loss party! I am a pear so lower body is the first place I gain and last to loose...

Any tips to target this region?

I am a pear, too. I lost the weight the same way, top to bottom. This is also where I have the most skin that I need to have removed (lower body lift). You will lose it down there, it will just take a little longer!

Just keep the course and have patience - it all eventually comes off, in it's own way and time.

I agree that is will come in time but I'm in the same situation. I run a 5k 3-5 times a week and I have thighs, hips and booty for days. My boobs on the other hand have shrank tremendously!

217 to 189 now

      Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!

      Having gall bladder surgery in a few days and I so hope the recovery is easier than the one from the modified DS! I could use a bit of luck/pep talk for a change. I'm starting to be able to walk around without experiencing dizziness, but it would be great if the random pain in my chest and abdomen would go away!!
