Anyone have complications from adhesions?

Several years ago, twelve to be exact, I had laparoscopic gallbladder surgery that resulted in near death. The surgeon unknowingly accidentally punctured my bile duct and a week later I was rushed into exploratory emergency surgery from bile peritonitis and a dye test to try and find the leak which they could not. so I left the hospital with a drain and the bile duct leak eventually sealed on its own. I am now afraid there may be internal scar tissue that could cause complications during my gastric sleeve surgery. I would love to hear from others who had previous abdominal surgery prior to their sleeve and if there were any complications that arose due to excess interior scar tissue. THANKS
