Pain post op

Did/does anyone have a sharp muscular pain in their abs post op? Makes it hard to sit up from reclined position. Occurs only when ab muscles are engaged. Pain is above belly button to left.

I do. It's weird. I was sleeved on 7/17. It's a dull sharp pain. I have post op appt on 7/30 and am going to ask about it. All other incision sites are fine

Hi...got sleeved on 24/07/13...i have a dull pain with discomfort on and off in the breastbone area...the center of the chest, above the belly button...the pain & discomfort is there moreso when i take a sip

That sounds more like gas pains. Not muscular, those will get better if you walk around.
