Abdominal Band and Compression Stockings

Did anyone use either of these items after surgery? I want to have time to order them if they are necessary. Thanks!

I did not wear compression stockings, but the abdominal band was a LIFE SAVER! I wore that for the first two weeks and it made my stomach feel so much better.

Be careful with an abdominal band. It can increase your chances of blood clots.

If you are flying and sitting for long periods of time (post surgery) do the compression stockings. High risk for DVTs....

Yes to compression stockings. Big yes.

Re ab band, I find I can't bear anything tight around my tummy these days, and I was a committed spanx wearer before. Just feels really uncomfortable despite the fact I'm considerably lighter.
