Still working on it! Life is too crazy right now... This is the last thing on my to-do list! I'll post on here when I'm ready to email it! (Right now, it's alllll tailored to me and I'm sure you don't want my initials and pictures on everything!$

Hey y'all!! Sorry I've been out of pocket!!!

I have finally put my book together and it's AMAZING! :) I need to edit it so it can be generic' date=' because it's completely tailored to me! I want to put it in PDF format that will be easy to print.

I'm a teacher getting ready for school, but I promise I'll get it done soon! :) Those of you who have posted in this thread, I'm going to EMAIL you a copy. But I've learned that there are dozens of other people from my support group who want it and my NUT wants to sell them! So I'm going to sell them!! But y'all get it for free![/quote']

I'd buy a copy from you, I'm 12days out and still trying to decide the best way to track all of this.

Wanda

Wow, I am really impressed with what you've done! Would love, love, love a copy! Also, since your a teacher and I know school just started back, I would be more than happy to help you edit it and send it back to you. I'm pretty good with that sort of thing and am excellent at PowerPoint, adobe, etc. along with a few other programs! I'm sure the source file is large and may not be emailable, so please let me know if you want some help! I could use a new project to work on!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
