Got sleeved yesterday. So jealous of you folks that didn't get gas pains. As soon as I woke up in recovery I had then. worst pain I have ever had in my life. I was regretting my decision to have this surgery until this morning. Still some discomfort but better. Haven't drank anything for 40 hours so sure would like to do that. Could care less about eating or sipping broth.< /p>

I had mine on Monday, gas pains still have them. Remember to only sip 2 oz at a time when you start..try to space it out every 15 -20 min. That pain of over full by one extra spoonful of liquid is terrible.

I was sleeved on the 14th. Same issue as you. I even got a muscle spasm from the abdominal wall where they stitched internally. So between that & gas pain I was screaming less than 24 hrs post op. Thankfully the MD knew exactly what was wrong & started me in muscle relaxer. Now I'm just trying to work out the gas pains. Trying to figure out all the fluids too is mind boggling. I'm taking it 1 day at a time!!

Very similar experience and sleeved on the same day. All I can say is walk, walk, walk, sip slow. I still get gas pain in my chest but not as bad as it once was. Thought I was having a heart attack when I woke up in the recovery room.

I saw where some people take gas-x.... Has anyone tried this and does it help?

I used the strips in the hospital... It helped me. My gas pains were not that terrible -- like bad menstrual cramps that went away (mostly) after 2.5 days.

I had surgery thursday and oh boy i was sooo bad yesterday, i guess it was a combination of buyer's remorse, gas pains, hunger, and the anesthesia effect but i was not a happy camper. Today thats another story, i slept all night, had my Protein Shake in the morning and some liquids as well,i also found energy to shower! Im soo much better not in a lot of pain and also im more comfortable with my decision of having the sleeve done. My mom has been a great help with my boys but my husband has been a little too distant and busy outside of the home, i guess he cant deal with seeing myself in pain but i resent his decision of going to work instead of staying with me :( o well I'm sure its just my emotions that are all over the place!

I had surgery on Wednesday and I had the worst dry heaves I had ever had last all day, and oh so nauseous, thought I did something to my sleeve. it all got better on Friday after I told them I did not want the anti nauseous medicine don't know if that was it or not but as soon as they stopped giving it to me I felt a lot better. Now I just pain up under my left breast. Very hard getting in and out if bed at home might sleep in a recliner tonight.

Factors Affecting the Growth of the Alternative Sweeteners Industry:
Health Consciousness: The increasing awareness among individuals about the health issues linked to high sugar consumption, such as obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases, is supporting the market growth. Consumers are becoming more health-conscious and seeking products that can provide sweetness without the negative health effects associated with sugar. This shift in consumer preferences is leading to a greater demand for low-calorie and natural sweeteners like stevia, monk fruit, and erythritol. These sweeteners offer the added benefit of having minimal impact on blood glucose levels, making them suitable for diabetic and health-conscious individuals.
Technological Advancements: Innovations in the production and formulation of alternative sweeteners are impelling the market growth. Advancements in biotechnology and food science are leading to the development of high-intensity sweeteners with improved taste profiles and functional properties. Innovations in fermentation processes enhance the production efficiency and quality of natural sweeteners like stevia and monk fruit. These technological improvements are making alternative sweeteners more appealing to both manufacturers and consumers. Enhanced stability, solubility, and sweetness intensity allow these sweeteners to be used in a wide range of products, ranging from beverages to baked goods.
Consumer Trends and Preferences: Evolving consumer trends and preferences are playing a significant role in driving the alternative sweeteners market. The growing demand for clean-label products, which are healthier and free from artificial ingredients, is offering a favorable market outlook. Consumers are increasingly seeking natural and plant-based sweeteners, aligning with broader trends toward plant-based diets and veganism. Besides this, there is an increase in the demand for low-calorie and sugar-free alternatives that support weight management and overall wellness. Food and beverage companies are responding to these trends by innovating and expanding their product lines to include options sweetened with alternative sweeteners, thereby catering to changing tastes and health concerns of modern consumers.
