I literally laughed out loud' date=' NtvTxn. Thank you! I recently had a fallout with a judgmental fat a. Each & every one of us know how long it takes to get your surgery date, right? Well this person was overheard by my 15 year old son saying "I don't know why she had to schedule her FAT SURGERY the same week as our tournament. All board members (little league softball) are required to be here to help!" Considering I was running fever & coughing from almost pneumonia at the time she's lucky I sent my husband & son to help. She unfriended me on Facebook after I got through with her. Good riddance![/quote']

What a jerk, you don't need a friend like that.

I can't wait for my best friends reaction. I haven't told her, I feel bad our friendship has been strained over others matters. I think she'll enjoy having me shop in the small section with her once she sees my weight loss. Lol.

I also don't feel like my thirst is ever quenched! I miss my Diet Pepsi! It has almost been 10

Weeks since my last one and I am very proud of that! As far as judgement I say to hell with the haters!

It's been a year since I had any type of Pepsi products. I could drink a 64oz bottle and not miss a beat lol. Once I stopped drinking soda my bloating went down a lot!

I miss drinking with meals, also it makes it so much harder to get all the Water I need. As far as people knowing, I was embarrassed about it at first, but the reaction was so positive from the few people I told. I said the heck with it, and now I'm very open about it, so far all the feedback has all been positive. The way I see it is I took the steps I needed to fix myself and become healthy, if anyone has a problem with that, then who needs them. You'll see your confidence will grow as you lose the weight and you won't even care what the haters say.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
