How to display "My Surgeon"

Recommended Posts

I notice that many members display their surgeon's name on their posts, on the left hand side, with the heading "My Surgeon." How do I get that to display instead of just "see patient profile"? Thanks!

Try this---go to My Patient Profile. he on the left will be a tab My Surgeon. You enter their name there.

Thank you -- I tried that but every time I do it, I click "save changes" and his name just vanishes from the entry box. It never sticks.

Can you please let me know each of your surgeon's names please ?

Also, are you using a desktop, tablet or mobile device ?

We plan on changing around the way data is entered. Your feedback is appreciated!

Are you actually using your mouse to select, and click on the Surgeon's name once it pops up after you've began typing it?

Hi Alex,

My surgeon is Dr. Keary Robert Williams, this is his profile here:

Thank you!

I am using a Windows desktop running XP Pro.

When you are trying to select your surgeon, what, exactly if you don't mind, are you doing? Step by step. Are you completely typing the surgeons name? Does your browser auto complete his name? Do you click on his name once our system delivers it as a suggestion?

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
