I am supposed to move to purée on Monday. Today I had two ounces egg salad for one feeding.....I also had two ounces of mashed potato for another. Mashed potatoes I couldn't even finish two ounces and I added my Protein, but I highly doubt it is very good for me. Tomorrow I am going to scrambled eggs......I also took maybe two or three bites of a piece of lunch meat. Weirdly the lunch meat went down and tasted the best.

I ate tilapia today and my sleeve was certainly not ready! I was at work and my stomach started cramping and I excused myself to the ladies room to vomit! (Sorry tmi) ..I do think it may have been that I didnt chew well enough or ate too fast!..Im still adjusting, either way myself, my sleeve, or both was just not ready for that!...I will go back to my pureed sweet potatoes tomorrow! !:)

That is my fear. I was too scared to eat the whole egg for fear of not knowing my limits. It's weird bc I can tell when I'm full on broths and shakes but not sure what will happen on purée. I think it's bc I get mushies and purée confused. The concept is weird, yogurt is full liquids and egg is purée and not mushie? And everyone's diet is different. Just frustrating.

My doctor eventually just said to me that whatever you do introduce one at a time and see what happens. The stages are there for a purpose but if your stomach can take an egg do it!

I find it frustrating at times also. I always fear im failing at this. Im always worried am I drinking too much, or too fast, am I stretching out my lil sleeve already...this is not the first time I feel I've pushed my limits im trying to learn to listen to my body but all this is still very new and its definitely an adjustment...I dont want to mess up!!

I feel the same way because both Water and the puréed stage foods almost feel like they are going down too well. Calorie intake is averaging about 600 per day. I always wonder if I am stretching my sleeve. I wonder if I will be the only only who a sleeve won't work on and I won't lose weight. Crazy thoughts I guess!

Me too. Me exactly.

I'm transitioning onto purees this weekend. I had a soft boiled egg. Then for fun, I made the ricotta bake. That was a wonderful lunch. I could only eat about 2-3 ounces. I'm still trying to get the 80g of Protein in. (Not fond of shakes) but on the other hand, liquids are much easier. I drink a lot of low calorie gatorade. (G2)

I'm going to the market tomorrow (Sunday) to get some things like baby food, hummus and things to puree.

This is such an exciting adventure that we are all on!! Good luck for anyone who needs to return back to work Monday.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
