IT'S DIFFERENT WITH EACH SURGEON.. I WILL BE STAYING FOR 2-3 DAYS..

I was in the hospital 2 days. They wouldn't let me drive myself home either. I was still on pain meds the 2nd day and in no condition to drive.

I only stayed overnight. Which was standard for my surgeon if there were no complications. It was written in my instructions prior to surgery that someone had to pick me up.

Good luck!

I was in for 2 days, with no complications. Wishing you the best! ^_^

My surgeon requires only overnight, but my uncle was outpatient and left the same day

I stayed 2 days. Wasn't ready to go home.

Driving home is a big no, no. I couldn't even have a cab pick me up. I had to be released to someone. In was in for 2 days and honestly could have stayed longer. When I had a baby I was outta there less than 12 hours later........

My doctor's plan is water and ice on day of surgery, clear liquids post op day 1, full liquids post op day 2, and if I'm doing ok, go home on Day 2 in the afternoon.

I stayed one night.

Call your doctor to ask what the standard time for his patients is.

Good luck! :)
