May sleevers results so far!

Recommended Posts

My surgery was 5-22-13. I have lost 56 lbs since surgery. 68 lbs till goal. Have been in a stall for a couple of weeks now. Trying to break thru it and still keep my head up. I am happy with my results but don't like the stalls.

I feel the same way. It sometimes gets very discouraging to read all of the really awesome results others have had...though I am SO happy for them all. :) I was sleeved on May 22' date=' and I am down 35 pounds. Not a lot, but I know it's way more than I could have done on my own. I'm currently in the midst of a stall, but I'm hopeful that it will end soon and I will see the scale going down once again.[/quote'] I was sleeved on May 22 too. Yay

Total weight loss 65 pounds.

Excercise 2.1 miles brisk walking 6 days a week, bicycling 5+ miles 3 times a week.

I have been stuck in between 188-191 for almost a month! Its making me crazy. My eating is good but not perfect, my activity is great. Im just wondering these platueas everyone talks about how long do they last?? I want to lose another 58 pounds which I will work for, but how long should I wait having NO weightloss before I freak out big time?!

I was sleeved May 24th and I am down 49 pounds. Stalling for a week but trying not to freak about it. Just put on a pair of size 18 jeans for the first time since high school!

That's awesome!! My down time when the husbands gone and the kids are at school is my tough part. It would be easier to KNOW that if you eat some pretzels or drink once a week whether or not you can still hit your goals...is everyone really being that good??

Sleeved May 8th, I'm down 58 pounds since then. I was a lapband revision, and was told that I would lose slower than most because of that, but I seem to be right on target with everyone else. I went from 206 to 148, and from a size 22 down to a 12.

Wow that is so great, how much more if any do you want to lose? For me I always hid my weight well by the way I dressed so even at 250 I was a 22. Now at 188, 190 lol I am just barely a 15/16. I just bought my first pair of jeans at Macys last week. Right now I am picking up my daughter from school and she wants a doughnut!! :/ ahh help.

You all are doing so well. I have been stalled for several weeks. Decide to get back to the site and you have all really inspired me to work harder at my goal!!

You sound like you are doing a great job! 65 pound loss is awesome, congratulations!

I just broke a 6 week stall today. It may have only been a teeny tiny loss but I'm classing it as a loss and a stall breaker.

I don't think there's any set rules for how long they last because everyone's different. I think if you change up something different in your routine it can give you a kick start again.

Why don't you try measuring yourself as I bet you've lost inches if you're working out that much?

I decided to give myself some legit hard work and perfect dieting days. Im always good in the morning, but evenings get rough for me. Today was 3rd day and I did my usual walk and then went on a bike ride to a new trail. Needless to say it was 9 miles uphill! Both ways! My husband is on the naughty list and im on the heating pad but I survived. Anyways, this morning there was a definite drop in the scale! So I decided to put it up until next Saturday ( im a obsessive daily weigher). Weighed in at 187.4 so I will actually be out of the "obese" range in 2 more pounds and just overweight. Lol ill take it!! Good job on breaking your way through. I felt like mine lasted a while too!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...
