The whitish stuff is just glue

Looks good, healing very well. I had bruising around my incisions and it took them a few days before they appeared and it took a couple weeks for them to disappear.

Is it bruising? Bruising can be yellowish in color.

Still, my observation does not and should not take the place of your doctor or any medical professional.

looks like bruising to me - and since you have the glued incisions, sometimes the iodine they clean you with during surgery is stuck under it as well. As long as it's not red or draining pus, you're good. :)

Looks like normal healing to me! Abnormal would be red, warm/hot to the touch, discharge, pus or a foul odor.

Just from the picture you posted I think the incision looks good. Granted, I am not an expert but to me it definitely doesn't look like something that would warrant an immediate visit to the ER! If you are worried, it never hurts to pop into your surgeon or PCP office and have someone take a look. Recently I was sick - it made me feel so much better to go in and have my dr tell me I wasn't going to die (ok, I was nowhere near dying - I had strep throat). Sometimes we just need a little reassurance -

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
