My sleeve is sch. for June 5th. Has anyone been to Juarez, MX or going?

My mother grew up in El Paso, when I was little, we'd park the car and walk across the bridge into Juarez. Now days, the locals say it is very dangerous over there or even near there, tourists just cannot do what we use to do. If you go, be very, very careful.
