I'd love to loose about 55 pounds. One thing you should be aware of is that different doctors get different results. I work with 4 women that have all had the sleeve surgery about the same time. All went through the same doctors office but one used a different surgeon than the others. The one person that used a different surgeon can eat about 4 times what the other ladies can eat. She has barely lost 40 pounds and is really having to work hard to get that weight off. She is about 5 months out and the other ladies are about 6 to 4 months out and have lost 95 to 60 pounds. Make sure you get a personal referral about your surgeon if you can!

This is a tough one. On paper I should lose 145lbs so that would bring me to 150. BUT the last time I weighed that I was 11... I'm 28 now.

I have always been big and I just don't know how that will feel or look. So, the personal goal weight I'm aiming for is 170. That means I'd have to lose 120lbs and when I get there I will reevaluate where I need to be.

I carry the majority of my weight in my middle, and I just want that to be smaller because I've read that being an 'apple' shape is extremely hard on your heart.

Either way ANY amount of weight lost will be a win! Good luck everyone. Lets take it one day at a time because before we know it we will get there!

Sheena :-)

My goal is to weigh between 135-145. I started at 257 in September of 2012. My surgery was 12/18/12 and my surgery weight was 245 I am now at 186. I have at least another 41 pounds to go. I hope to be at goal by my one year mark if not sooner. My short term goal is 175 by June 21st, first day of summer.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
