I was sleeved in February. I've lost 50 pounds since surgery 65 pounds all together but physically I can't tell a difference. Clothes still fit pretty much the same. It's depressing I thought things would be happening faster. Does anyone else have this issue?

Please hang in there. Try not to be too hard on yourself. I guarantee you that others see if much more than you do. BUT don't count on people to praise you for it. Some will but some won't, honestly due to jealousy (& maybe other reasons they have). You may want to start measuring your inches to have another way to look at it. You've lost a lot of weight thus far. Keep pushing to lose even more if that's your goal & don't look back. Success is yours.

The smaller you get, the less pounds it takes to notice changes.

When I was 320lbs, it took me a good 45 lb loss to see changes (and for others to notice). So since you started at 360ish, I'm honestly not surprised that you aren't noticing changes (but they are occurring and it is doing your body good internally!!).

Hang in there! I bet in another 15 - 20 lbs you'll start to notice, and the smaller you get, the easier the changes will be noticed. Keep going!!

First congratulations on your loss!. A 50 lb loss in the first two - three months is somewhat above average for most people having this surgery. If I could ask, what was your expectation at this point? I ask this a lot from folks that post similar and it is rare that I get an answer. I really am curious what you thought you would weigh two months out. Did you talk to your surgeon to see where he thought you would be? Again great job on the loss, I would not be "dicouraged" if i were you. :)

I didn't have a particular goal but I did think that I'd be seeing more changes in myself by now

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
