According to my surgeons office from Cleveland clinic I can take any over the counter meds for allergies or cold and flu symptoms. I'm 2 months post op however. I think if you are within 1 month post op I would check with your doctor. I was only allowed liquid or crushed meds the first month post op. as long as it doesn't contain ibuprofen or aspirin in it you should be fine. Stick to acetaminophen products such as tylenilcold and flu etc.
