Diet soda?

I've been told not to drink anything with carbonation... But have seen where some drink diet coke? Opinions on diet soda? Oh just to add I was sleeved February 20th and have lost 44 lbs!

My nut told me if I wanted to drink diet sodas to stir the carbonation out first. Your stomach isn't as big so there is no place for the bubbles to go but up and she said some foam at the mouth.

Carbonation can also stretch your sleeve. This could be temporarily uncomfortable...and long term - you don't want to undo what you just had done, do you? Is a diet coke really worth it?
