Based on the results I’ve seen on here, I would wait to order yours. You may have to pay to have it rushed but it is a lot easier to take up a size or so than many sizes. Plus, you may lose in areas like your chest which will make for more alterations. It would be hard to order several sizes smaller now because you don’t have any way of knowing where you will be in 8 months.

My daughter is getting married in June and I have been putting ff getting my dress until I am closer to my goal weight. Of course that is a little easier to put off than ordering a bridesmaid dress. I think mooregirl has the best idea. See when the latest you can order and put it off as long as you can. Eight months out seems like a really long time out but you probably have to order six to four months based on my daughters experience. Hopefully by then you will have a better idea of the rate you are losing.
