@s7t....hi glad to hear u are doing well.....what's G2?

Its Gatorade but the 2 is gatorade with less calories and sugar than the regular. I particularly like the fruit punch one and its been a real great help getting my fluids in... plus the electrolytes help a lot too. :) Totally recommend!

I had replied to this post early in the thread.

I was scheduled for May 7. I went in for the surgery, but the surgeon cancelled the proceedure when he saw that my stomach was too red and inflamed. (I would rather have a cancelled proceedure than complications.)

So... I'm adjusting... This is definitely not what I was expecting.

I will have a re-check in 8 weeks.

Right now I'm not sure whether or not I will continue efforts to have the surgery. It took everything for me to show up for the surgery and to have it not happen was rough.

For now, at least, I will continue my weight loss journey without surgery.

Best wishes to all of you May sleevers!

:)

Thanks blackie220! :)

Well... there isn't anything I can do for at least 8 weeks. So I'll get through the 8 weeks and go from there.

I wish you amazing success with your new sleeve! I appreciate your encouragement!

:)

I was sleeved on May 15th..I can't believe I can actually say that. With reading some people's story, I was a little concerned, not enough to discourage me, just a little concerned.

Was released from hospital Friday afternoon and the last time I took any pain meds since the morning I left the hospital. I sleep well, have worked up to walking 30 mins today and can even sleep on my stomach.

Just a little hard getting all fluids and Proteins in, but work real hard each and every day to improve.

I have been truly blessed and pray every day for everyone on here!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
