22% of excess weight lost in 8 weeks

Saw the doc today for my slightly late 6 week appointment. She was happy with my weight loss. I have lost 22% of my excess weight. She told me she wants me to be up to 30% at 3 months. Seems like a lot of weight to lose in four short weeks.

Congratulations on getting to 22%!

Now, about the next bit. 22% in 6 weeks means you lost an average of 3.67% a week, more or less. You're being asked to lose another 8% in the next four weeks: about 2% a week. You've got this!

Thanks for the pep talk! I wanted to shout at her to stop harshing my buzz!

No doubt :) But you can keep your buzz and sashay on in next time with her precious 8% more and if she won't applaud, WE will!
