That's GREAT Mini! I do the same thing now! I'm actually hoping my clothes shrink a little!!!

Isn't that a great feeling? I was wearing a pair of cords today and they were sagging in the butt. John told me it looked like I had a full diaper.

Howdy everyone, I could barely read all the posts from the last few days! Chatty bunch you gals are!!

Wow, it was a crazy weekend at work. I had the CUTEST peds patient though-she was a precocious 4 year old and she had me in stitches all weekend. We were quite the duo! She wanted to "do my hair" which was fine until she said "I want to put little braids all over your head". I had to veto that idea! I did however warn my other patients that if I came back with crazy hair, it was because I was having a 4 year old stylist do it for me!

Mini-one question...if you become a truck driver, are you going to have peace signs on your rig? Hee hee! That was the first thing I had a visual of when I read that. Question number two-DID you have a full diaper?

I can't remember if I updated everyone on the neighbor/fence situation the other night. The lawyer basically said what I knew he would say-that the house next door has the burden of proof and they have to get the survey. He did say if I have to move my fence he will get the fence guy to do it for free or we will sue him because he basically didn't do his job correctly when he placed the fence. He also said he is going to look into getting criminal charges pressed against the evil witch across the alley for moving one of the property line markers. Karma really is a bitch honey!! And I made it clear to him to convey to the other party's attorney that if I do have to move the fence, there are plenty of other ways I can be detrimental to the sale of the property. Starting with having my friends 4 year olds come over to paint the side of it that faces their yard. It's called "choose your battles wisely". Fence 4 inches over the property line....or all kinds of other mayhem when you are trying to sell your house? The ICU nurses can be pretty obnoxious sometimes and I am sure some of them would be happy to visit when they are showing the house! Hmmm....decision would be easy for me personally. I made it clear to the lawyer that I am NOT playing nicely with these people any longer. He said I have "been very above board" with the situation the whole time and basically that I have been too nice for too long already. So I think I have found the right lawyer! After everything that witch across the alley has done to me, it would be poetic justice if she has criminal charges pressed against her, as she always attempts to portray herself as "holier than thou" to all the other neighbors. I hate to stoop to their level really, but enough is enough already. I guess it is time to give them a dose of their own medicine and see how they like it!

Deb-Glad the Tuckermeister is doing better!

Shelbi-I have not one, not two, but FOUR labs who do not like Water. And the one that is the absolute worst about it is the one who used to duck hunt with his previous owner. He goes outside and if it is raining, he will immediately turn around and come back into the house. What can I say, I am clearly running a house for special needs labs!!

My new addiction: the TV show "Rescue Me". I never wanted to watch it because I thought it would be unrealistic, but I rented the first season last week and it is great! The most realistic portrayal of firefighters I have seen. Bahot, have you watched it?

Heck yeah I'd have peace signs all over my big rig! Bet the rest of the truckers would just love seeing my hippie mobile pulling in to the Flying J!

My diaper may have been full of gas.

I am very glad your fence issue is working out. Man, you've had your share of crap lately.

Our lab fell in the pool once and started sinking right to the bottom. Couldn't swim. Her little black paws were frantically waving in the air. DH had to jump in and save her.

Is that the one with Denis Leary? I've watched it a handful of times and I thought it was fabulous.

Hey Deb! Thanks. This board is great. You all seem like a great bunch of girls!! Thank you so much for your email. I have so many questions. LOL It is nice to find someone close who went to Dr. K.

I am flying out on the 22nd too. What airline are you on? Maybe we will be at the airport at the same time.

I would love seeing your rig pull into the Flying J. Or you know, about 25 minutes away from me is the countries biggest truck stop. They have award winning bathrooms. I'm not joking. Only in Iowa!

It's too soon to tell if the fence issue will work out, but at least I have an attorney who is going to get things accomplished I hope. Because I am really frustrated with my divorce attorney and I think I am going to fire him! My divorce should have been done weeks and weeks ago! In July really...I sent him a letter asking him what was going on with my case, and he hasn't responded. The other attorney told me that at this point it is an ethical issue and he can be reported to the powers that be. Sigh. Why can't people just do their jobs?

Yes it is, and it is great!! I can already foresee I am going to get nothing done on my days off because I am going to be watching this!!

I can truly appreciate award winning bathrooms. I know every truck stop from here to Vegas and I can tell you which ones have decent bathrooms and which do not. This is an important issue in my life.

Yes, since your diaper is full you need somewhere to change it.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
