Dr. Gerald Kirshenbaum - Considering Dr. Kirshenbaum

Recommended Posts

I am just going to have to figure out what I need to do to get it to look right. I did something wrong somewhere.

RobinAnn... any suggestions???

I assume you mean the rounding and the centering?

I'd choose all the blue blocks from Laptastic down (shift and mouseclick) and then click on the "align" icon. Choose "center". Keeping those same fields chosen, click on the "123" icon and choose "two decimals".

YAY!!! I just had my unfill! Dr. K took out .4 and I feel SO MUCH BETTER!!! I had 2 chicken strips and a 5 ounce bowl of salad at the hospital cafeteria to test it out. I haven't been able to eat salad for so long!!!! I am ecstatic! I can go back to eating what I am supposed to because I actually can EAT IT!!! I am looking forward to making food again because I can eat!!! YAY!!! I love unfills!!! Ok, maybe I am a little crazy, but it really has been about 6 months since I have been able to eat things besides Soups and slider foods, but I still managed to lose 20lbs in 6 months. I am headed home now, waiting for my flight. I hope it's less bumpy than the last one. It's the only time I have actually gotten nauseated on a flight.

Marie, I am so happy to hear that you're able to eat again! I think being too tight just sounds awful. Have a wonderful flight . . . I hope it's not bumpy either. It's really not my favorite flight . . . .

Ugh, what a fiasco! So Kayleigh's Mommy, Coloradomom and I were supposed to meet tonight at Chili's on Colorado Blvd. and I25 (my restaurant suggestion, by the way). I was running late, coming from Water aerobics, so as I raced up I25, I noticed that the Chili's I meant was at Hampden, not Colorado (oops). So I run in there, they aren't there. So I find the only Chili's on Colorado...not there. So I go back to the one on Hampden...not there. Of course, I don't have Julie's number with me, so I give up at about 7:55 and go home. Meanwhile, Julie is leaving me messages on my home phone (doesn't have my cell number with her) saying she is running late, then that they are at Chili's. Moral to the story: 1)put phone numbers in your cell phone. I should have done that already. 2)know what you're talking about when you select a restaurant to meet at.

So sad I couldn't meet up with them tonight.

So sorry we missed you!!!! I feel like it is my fault for making you guys come out to the city...and poor Julie driving around trying to find me because I had no car!

Next time for sure!

Don't feel bad at all. We look forward to the get togethers and would've picked you up from the mountains if that's where you were. It was just a series of unfortunate events and a serious error in communication on my part.

Looking forward to meeting you next time.

Marie I'm happy you are back at center. Way to go.

Hey guys

For those in the challenge I put together a spreadsheet on google docs. Not sure if it is going to be more user friendly or not, but I like the fact that it keeps totals. Eyeryone can go in and edit it weekly for themselves, or I can edit it.

If you guys don't like it... no biggie, we can stay with the way we have been doing it. I won't be offended if someone doesn't like the format/doesn't want to do it this way.

I must confess..... I actually stole this format from another thread :(

Please give me feedback, positive  or negative.

Here is the link to it.

Wow!!!! Looking great:thumbup: You look like you are healing quite well. Love the new belly button!!!! :wink2:

Thanks, Julie! I like my new belly button too. I'm sure I used to have one, but I haven't seen it in years.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
