At a chinese restaurant 5 days post op

Ok .... So it's Easter Sunday and I love our local very royal Chinese restaurant ... Anyway all went well with the soup - got someone to order laksa and I had some of the broth from it - FYI I'm on free fluids ... But here's the UH OH moment - I decided to get a pudding after - harmless right? Custard max with boiled or can fruit mixed in? ... WRONG ... I was enjoying the custard and this was pineapple flavour and I in conversation without even THINKING swallowed a almost raw fresh (kind of, it was bearly cooked) piece of pineapple ... It's been about 30mins since I got up running out of the restaurant without an explanation and sat in the car uncomfortable, sweating, crying and stomach spasming and belching .... I'm home now feel the way you do when you've eaten WAY WAY WAY too much on Christmas Day ... Tell me I'm gonna be ok? I rang the hospital and they just said if you start getting SHARP pains call again otherwise it's ok.... HELP

I am not a doctor but I can encourage you to take their advise. Ride it out.

No need to scold you about the mistake, you are doing that yourself as I have to myself for the times I have messed up.

One essential skill that comes with successful sleeving is concentration. I have trouble with distractions: TV, conversations, movies, etc. can dull my senses and trick me into eating wrong. I have to purposefully force myself to think about what I am doing. It becomes a habit if you do it long enough.

It takes awhile but you will start feeling better Ive done that a couple times and finally learned my lesson
