Im a bit concerned over so many people saying they can only fit 1 egg or less for Breakfast. Im 3months out and I eat 1 and 1/2 to 2 eggs with deli slice ham. Most days is 1egg and the other just the egg white but still..... Am i the only one that is eating this much??? Bit scared here.

I have two eggs a couple of times a week for breakfast. I don't have anything with them except maybe a grating of padano sometimes.

Relax :)

Why do you look like an 'equals' sign?:P

I wouldn't trip about that! I was able to eat 1 egg and cheese the very first day I was allowed! I'm now 4 months and can eat more. If that freaks others out? Oh well... it's a nice normal amount and that's what we are supposed to do! I've seen the people say "oh my! that's to much"

"I only eat a bite and I'm stuffed for days"

That's not me...

Now if you came here and said girl I can eat 1 whole layer cake then we would be talking problems!! But you are eating normal.

Yeah when I told my NUT I could eat 2 eggs she almost spased out! I try to stick to whites, but I can eat 2 eggs, but I would not eat anything else with that. I think I can eat more than most and it worries me!

I can eat 1 egg, 1 white and 2 morningstars. Did so this am. If you chew well and don't drink with it. it isn't hard.

Keep in mind, just because we can, doesn't mean we should. I was advised to under eat the sleeve, meaning, since we don't feel real hunger, stop before we get that full feeling that is sooooo miserable. Or maybe I'm the only one that can have the stuffed feeling sneak up and bite me!! :)

I can't eat a whole egg, but I hate eggs and have to force every bite down lol. After a couple days I quit torturing myself and ate yogurt instead...which is the less of two evils lol

Thank you very much, I think I can handle it. I've been doing this for a while now, and I can pretty much know when I am full.

For some reason since surgery I can't tolerate eggs at all. Comes right back up within 10 minutes. Strange because one day fine, next day not, so I just don't eat them & I'm 6 months out....oh well, maybe one day.

Shoot, you're welcome and you're doing better than me. If I'm eating out, I'll get to visiting and all of a sudden, I feel horrible....and I've been doing it for 3 years! Then there I am, in the passenger seat, laid back and salivating!!! I have not thrown up, but a couple of times, I was wishing! Maybe one of these days I'll know I need to pay more attention! At home I weigh and measure, it's easier for me.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
