Need help with my exercise routine

Recommended Posts

Ok, so I recently hit my first major stall. I have made sure my diet is where it should be and I'm pretty good there. A friend said I should try changing up my exercise routine to kinda re kick start my weight loss. I already go to the gym 4-5 times a week I do 1 hour of cardio and 25-30 mins of strenght. However I have not found a good routine for my home where I have no equipment, can someone recommend some good at home work outs I can do on my off gym days and any other work out advice I would love. I am new to the whole work out thing, my husband normally helps me but he was recently deployed with the Army so im kinda at a loss. Thanks all

Have you tried the bands? Those really get your cardio up. My Brother is the one that got me using them. He got them for me at Target.

Have u tries Zumba? It's fun addictive and tones your entire body plus cardio. After college I started Zumba and lost about 30lbs from Zumba alone

I am attempting to get into kettlebell workouts. I hear they produce fast results! Also, can't wait to start zumba.

The firm workouts I love, they work me to death in 30 mins but love the way I feel and look after I started with them.

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.
