January sleevers......what's your weight loss so far?

Recommended Posts

Yes...just only losing a pound every once in a blue moon is frustrating. Feels like I have lost all I will lose and still have at least 40 more to go. Not even 1/2 way.

I feel the same way. sleeved 1/21 and down around 45 pounds. current weight 187. I've been playing with the same 2 pounds for weeks. can eat most anything. I average around 800 calories. I try to get up to around 1000-1100 at least once a week. I still need to lose at least 40 more.

I was sleeved 1/29 and have lost exactly 65 lbs. I've been on a stall for like a month. I feel like I'm not going to loose more weight and I'm only 5 months out. How long can stalls last? I'm exercising 4 times a week. This is very frustrating!

Jamie thank you I'm going to try that for 2 days. I feel like I'm not going to loose anymore. I'm the same size but people tell me I'm loosing inches because I look skinner. I hope I start losing again soon

Wow I've lost 68 pounds since surgery on Jan 9-13!!

With the ten I lost prior I've lost 78 pounds!!!

I eat 1200-1500 calories a day and have not started exercising on a reg basis due to medical problems but after this Thursdays surgery I will be able to.

I had almost a month stall before it started coming off agin. I don't worry about it but I weight everyday.

I have eaten way too many carbs and struggle with that.I use NATURES RESEARCH brand vanilla whey because it is the only one that I think tastes good actually delicious. I can eat it off a spoon!! That's my one drink a day mixed with Water that gives me 30 grams of Protein then I eat one Greek Yogurt. 11 grams of protein and a cup of skim milk for 9 grams of protein. My daily protein is 50 plus whatever meat protein I eat for dinner and lunch and low fat cheese sticks. A typical lunch is ham and cheese rolled in cabbage, dinner is baked chicken with a carb side and a veggie side. Where I get into trouble is snacking on popcorn Cookies like Nilla cookies and bread. This slows my weight loss down I know but if all my protein and liquids are in I figure a little carbs is realistic if you can control it. For instance I'll eat 6 but before surgery I'd eat the whole box. So this is my struggle to control foods I know I won't live without or cold turkey those foods and find healthy substitutes. The answer seems obvious even to me but what I want and what I do are not in sync yet!

Before surgery 289

day of surgery 279

Today 211 June 17. day of surgery Jan 9-13

I love my sleeve I love my new life I've lost 68 lbs in 5 months.

I feel you!! I've been stalled for 3 months and I just so depressed and wonder if my body is destined to stay at this weight. I've lost 47 lbs since surgery on 1/14 and I have another 70 until goal. Went from size 26 to 20 by March. Still in a 20. I can also eat whatever I want and quite a bit too. Frustrating!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...
