I had my surgery 1/22/13, started liquids one week before surgery and as of today have list 46 lbs.

I followed the plan exactly and have walked 5-6 days a week. Feel great!

I'll start to slow down soon as a stall is due but I'm sticking to the plan so that I get through the stall, when it happens.

This post is just what I needed. I had surgery Jan. 8 and seem to have been stuck at 40 lbs lost for a couple weeks now. Here I was thinking I was "failing" but I'm actually within a normal range of the rest of you.

Maybe now I can stop stressing about it and move on.

Yeah great thread... it would be good if you post your stalls as well.

I was stalled for almost a week in the low 280s... When the stall finally broke I got into the mid 270's pretty quickly. 2 weeks later I am at another stall in the mid to high 260's... been there about a week and feeling it break soon.

weight at Surgery Jan. 21, 2013 was 232, currently around 212, total lost 20 pounds. I'm 5'6" tall. It's been 7 weeks today. I lost 15 pounds the first 4 weeks. Now I've been teetering up and down with 1-2 pounds for the past 11 days, stuck at the same weight. I had set a goal of losing 30 pounds by 8 weeks, but I don't see that happening. To be honest I get quite frustrated when people say "I'm a slow loser", when they are so obviously not. That makes those of us who truly are losing slow feel worse.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
