I am doing great. I feel rested, cared for, well attended to and lucky today. This has really been a snap for me. Thank you Dr Kelly. Thanks to everyone!!

I'm good, everything went well, and I hardly have any pain. No hunger at all, not like before the surgery, seems like I'm gonna have to force myself to eat, instead of before being sleeved.

Take care y'all!

The pain for me was worse than I expected. I was super nauseous for 36 hours. Turns out I was intolerant to the medicines they had me on. Now I'm on something new and feel pretty good! Not hungry at all!

Doing well not a lot of pain but had some nausea today. Slept quite a bit and atleast the gas pains are not unbearable. I realize I have to drink slower than I am used to. But doing well thank God

I'm not in a huge amount of pain but I am pretty uncomfortable from the gas and stuff. Been doing everything by the book and writing down every single thing i do. Overkill maybe but I don't care. I'm going to walk 6x a day...10 minutes each which is what they suggested. They took me off blood pressure meds because I was on a diuretic. So I got a blood pressure monitor to make sure I'm good with that. Doing my breathing treatments too.

Not a whole lot of pain just the uncomfortable gas bloat in the abdominal area. I ave been walking, this helps a lot. A little nausea! No vomiting. Still trying to remember small sips...it's kinda hard to retrain yourself.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
