Haha, no problem! I removed it.

I'm not telling people either. Very few people know. My name came up in a google search the other day on these boards, and, since I have a really "unique" first and last name, it would've been way too obvious. I requested that the person who posted it also remove my name.

I was sleeved 2 days ago on April 3rd. So far so good. Pain is now controlled with plain tylenol and levisen. Can't get the Protein down yet but am able to eat SF popsicles and sip flavored waters. Tried Carnation Instant Breakfast yesterday but was so tight I was miserable after taking only 2 ounces over 45 minutes. Doc said to focus on getting liquids down and then add Protein Shakes when some of the swelling has lessened. Plan to try Protein Shake again tomorrow. Have been outside walking 2 times today, little further each time. I am cold all over but it is warm outside, I hear that this being cold can be part of the change that happens pretty quickly post op. Stomach muscles are really sore but not really what I would call pain. I am using the heating pad on my stomach and it helps a lot. I am not hungry at all. Urinating was difficult for the first 24 hours but has gotten much easier once I got home last evening. I did not have a foley catheter in the hospital. Good luck to all April Sleevers that are still waiting for surgery. This isn't so bad and the results will be so worth it!!

I'm thinking about starting a Facebook page for all of us April sleevers to keep each other accountable. If I were to do this' date=' would anyone be interested in joining? Sometimes it's difficult to keep up with all the messages on the original April thread. Just wondering. :)

EDIT: I went ahead and made the group. It is a "Secret" group to protect the privacy of those of us who aren't telling friends & family about our procedure. No one outside of the group will be able to see the group itself, who is a member, and the posts therein. To be added, please pm (private message me) the e-mail address you have associated with facebook, and I will send you an invitation right away. The invite will be from Khloé. :)

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...
