waiting in Dr office to do preop tests...why am I so nervous?

Could be because I don't know what to expect...and I hate needles! BUT march 19 can't come soon enough!!!

Deep breathes!! You will be fine. B)

I know where you're coming from, hang in there. I have a fear of needles too. They drew 9 vials of blood from me. I just took slow deep breaths and looked at the wall.

Then I had to do it all over again 2 weeks later. Since I had agreed to accept blood if needed during surgery, they had to run the blood work again. They couldn't use the old test results if they are older than 3 days.

I had my pre op testing on Friday! I was nervous all day and when I finally got there it was a breeze! They went over past medical history and only took 2 vials of blood. It was easy! You'll be fine!! :D

Phewww! Not bad at all. EKG was good and blood work not so bad. my doctor had the sleeve done a few years back and she looks great and regrets nothing! told me to make sure I take my vitamins and protein regularly because there will be days that she will go all day without eating because she wasn't hungry at all I can't even fathom that! excited is an understatement March 19th cannot come soon enough. now off to get my chest x ray!!!!
