Well, there is no going back so I suggest you try so tuna with fat free mayo, Soups of any kind are always good, scrambled eggs good source of Protein. You must get your Protein and liquids in daily. It is still a struggle for me with liquids and I am out 3 months.

You can do this, I know you can because I. Am doing it. I am a slow loser because of my age and inactivity.

Find a high protein food that you like and eat it.

Best of luck and things will get better.

Smashed fried or boiled plantains? Try something easier? eggs, cottage cheese, beans.. foods that have Protein which your body needs. Drink your Water so you're properly hydrated and eating will be easier..

My coordinator suggested canned pumpkin with cinnamon and nutmeg. Kind of like pumpkin pie filling, but don't get actual sweetened pumpkin. Full of Protein and goes down smooth. Haven't had surgery yet, so I don't know about it personally....

You have to make yourself eat. It's not fun but its temporary. It's not forever but if you do not feed your body the nutrition it needs you will get very sick.

Call your dr and eat Protein and yogurt and things of that sort.

Good luck!

I agree with the other posters that you have to make yourself eat but I totally understand food holds no interest for me at this point. I am starting to hate my Protein shakes. Bleh! So far I only like a bit of yogurt and apple sauce. I'm trying to make myself excited about more savory foods but they grow cold before I can even finish them. I would be happy just drinking Water all day. A few sleevers have talked about heavily seasoning food, you might try making your food more flavorful with spices to see if that helps. Good luck.

At least get your fluids in and purée some chicken and put it in chicken broth. Stay hydrated and safe

Been there. For now, do your best to get in all your fluids, and as much Protein as you can. I dilute my Protein Drinks with a cup of milk in the blender. This might help you get it down easier.

Before you know it, you will get hungry and have cravings for food. Hopefully they will be good foods that you can eat.

My problem now is being sad that I can eat, and do like food again, but get full super quick!

Many told me it would pass, (which it did) and it will for you, too. Hang in there.

I had problems with all Protein mixes...premixed ones were much easier for me. Muscle milk lite was easiest for me to drink. ,(pour into mug though) Counted on them and Cannon Fit and Easy Greek yogurt to get me by.

Recently I found Ensure Extra Protein shakes..not cheap but easier and tastier for me to drink.

Appt with NUT tomorrow ....gonna show one to her and see if she approves.

I am at 6 weeks and having the same issue. I have found that if I mix pears or peaches with cottage cheese I can eat it without issue. Just remember FF cottage cheese and no sugar added fruit.< /p>

Yuck. I can't stand fat free dairy. It's like a sin to me. I do reduced fat everything except I do drink skim milk and ff fage Greek yogurt.

Some stuff that helped me: scrambled egg wit milk in it and our some spicy stuff on it to waken up your taste buds! Made a three bean chili Soup and puréed it...from William sanoma and is delic!, making your own tuna salad is also really good cause you can put in the flavors you like. PB2 mixed with some greek yogurt or with some low sugar jelly.

Good luck!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
