  1. Before surgery I was on meds to boost my estrogen due to having pcos.. One of the side effects was hair loss.. And yes my hair did thin out. I under the impression that the high estrogen is what makes your hair fall out. I was the opposite with the high testosterone and SUPER thick hair. My hair is thinning but its not so bad yet I am 4.5 months out and thinning at my hair line. Hopefully it doesn't last long or get bad.
  2. The gas.. Walk walk walk.. It really does help. And the drinking yeah it sucks but it does get easier.
  3. I am 3 1/2 months out and yes my hair is thining also.. The thining is most likely caused but the estrogen rush from the quick weight loss. When I was on meds to regulate my peroids I had the same thing happen. Doc said it was from all the estrogen my body was releasing. Needless to say it sucks but it should grow back.
  4. Things are good.. No complaints at all.. I would not change a thing except I would have done it sooner if would have known what I know now.
  5. Good for you.. Glad to hear you are doing well.. I had my 3 month yesterday. Dr Pop is a great doc.. Good luck at your 2 week apt.
  6. Did you have your surgery?
  7. Dr.Pop did my sleeve. He is an awesome surgeon. The staff there is amazing I would highly recommend .

  9. Congrats! So glad it all worked out. It's so close now.. It didn't even seen real to me even when I was in pre-op in my gown and all I couldn't believe it was really happening. lol
  10. Are you on a B12? I know that if I don't take mine I am just plain whipped.
  11. Does anybody have any tips on how to get their liquids in? That's the part that kills me... I was never a drinker before my sleeve I would literally chug a bottle of water when I realized I hadn't drank anything all day. Needless to say I can't do that anymore but I still forget to drink.
  12. My journey is going great. Sorry to hear about all of the complications you had to go thru. I also have the sick feeling. Went in for my 6.week on Monday doc said I could be eating too fast or too much. I slowed down the past 2 days and have given up on my coffee and the icky blah feeling has been gone so yay for that.
